Course Assumptions

Educational technologies should be low cost or no cost.
Educational technology is more than computers.
Educational technology is not a tool.
Educational technology is nothing new.
Educatonal technology should be user friendly
Teachers are expected to be teachers, not technicians.
The focus of educational technology is pedagogy, not technical know-how.
The uses of technology in education should not be restricted to enthusiasts.
There is no master medium.
We live in a world saturated by technology, media, consumerism, and spin.
